Circle City’s Dano Jones Featured in CanvasRebel
We are thrilled to announce that our very own Dano Jones has been featured in CanvasRebel magazine, an incredible platform that shares the stories of artists, small business owners, and creatives across the nation. CanvasRebel’s mission is to highlight the real-world insights and stories that shape creative industries—shining a spotlight on innovators like Dano, whose journey exemplifies the power of following your passion.
Dano’s Journey: From Power Tools to Artistry
In the interview, Dano shares his remarkable path to becoming a master in metalworking. At the age of 40, while pursuing a degree in graphic design, Dano answered a job ad that would change his life forever. Despite having no experience in metalworking, his background in art and power tools earned him a spot at Cutting Edge Craftsmen, where he quickly discovered a deep passion for the craft. Within six months, Dano became the production manager, gaining invaluable experience under the mentorship of Jeff Mack.
When the opportunity arose to purchase the company, Dano partnered with Ashley and Ryan Mullin, and together, they transformed it into what Circle City Metalworks is today. With over 300 unique designs in our collection, plus the ability to create custom jobs, Circle City Metalworks offers everything from artistic wall decor to industrial metal fabrication services.
A Commitment to Craftsmanship and Customer Service
Dano’s feature in CanvasRebel reflects not just his personal story but also the mission of Circle City Metalworks: to offer beautifully crafted, design-forward products at great prices, with unmatched service. His journey of learning the trade, taking risks, and building something from scratch resonates with anyone who has taken a leap of faith in pursuing their passion.
We couldn’t be prouder to see Dano’s hard work and dedication recognized by such a prestigious publication. His story reminds us that no matter where you are in life, it’s never too late to discover your true calling—and sometimes, the path finds you when you least expect it.
